Winter Storms hit the Southern Oregon Coast

We have water , and plenty of it, water conditions as of late have had the Southern Oregon rivers, high and dirty to say the least, the Rogue and the Chetco have kicked out numbers of good winter Steelhead, even during the rise. Conditions on Christmas Eve Day had the boys on the bank up for joy, with 35 fish hooked at Huntley Park on the Rogue & about the same at the Chetco around Social security Bar, were looking forward to some of the winter's best Steelhead fishing as soon as our waters start to drop , we'll keep you posted , you give us a call ............. 1-800-263-4351

Chinooks no match for the Newman Brother's

I continue to say , that with all the good 20#-25# hens in the system , we are going to see some large Bucks in the near future, the fish today were up the wrong creek , but we see this when the rivers are so near one another, conditions improved late in the day after a cold start, I seen more ice on the pumpkin this morning as well as yesterday morning to hold me for awhile , along with some melting snow, this whole picture will keep the good Guides on their toes, more rain in the forecast, and that means warming , Toby Newman with an Ocean bright Fall Chinook

Master Guide Mike Hoefer Rules

This is the kind of action you can get from a local seasoned Guide, Mike continues to produce good fish even on the toughfest days, one big smile says it all , cold temps early made the bite a bit slow till water conditions improved through the day, river is falling at present. More rain in the forecast...........

Sixes Ocean Bright Fall Chinooks

We are still plugging away on the short rivers Sixes & Elk , we are still seeing good numbers of fish on this our third drop of water levels, this time mother nature through a curve with some snow water on the melt and made the good guides slow down , waaaaaaaaaay down if you are going to stickem in the box. The run and gun boys looking for the cream on the easy biters are getting their you know what's kicked but they 'll learn to slow up one of these days', should have a fair amount of big males to show yet, that's the way it is most years! Nice flat ocean conditions outside for the last two days should bring them good , Barb Meyers was a happy girl today we ended up only having three bites but that's enough to get the box almost full, keep em tight ......Fishboss
