Mint Bright Fall Chinook

The short rivers of Southern Oregon Coast, are kicking out some of the most healthy Fall fish we seen in years , the meat is so orange they look like Spring fish. Water conditions were prime on Thanksgiving Day , pressure was down and there were enough fish around to keep you in the game , cold starts for a few days with water conditions falling at present we are ready for some more rain. Remember don't get in a hurry on these creeks take your time with the water being a cooler , sometimes it takes awhile to get it right for these big Chinook, the word on the creek is that Salmon is better than Turkey? small plugs with sardine wrap that's the stuff, and put it to-em slow. Its nice to be back after a couple of months off healing up from surgery, things aren't healing up as fast as I would like but we are light years ahead of the game as of this morning, looking forward seeing you all on the rivers catching these nice bright fish, best of luck to Mark and Judy some of my great clients "on what a Turkey Day"
