Water conditions were favorable for Springer's with water temps looking toward the 48f in march early in the month. We have a good tide push of fish on a daily basis every day at present , the lower river seems to provide the best of &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;opportunity&lt;/span&gt; at present before we get new rains to raise the river, continue to check the flows with 5ft to 6ft being height of choice for the lower river. With late storm's and some good run off we should have good spring fishing on the Rogue , every one of these are worth the effort put out ending with great table fare. Water and Temps are making some of this Falls fishing conditions some of the best yet so far, and by all indications it should just get better. We are seeing some &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;hatchery&lt;/span&gt; Chinooks as well as a fair number of &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;Hatchery&lt;/span&gt; Silvers, this is just about as fun as it gets in the Fall. Well all bets off the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;winner&lt;/span&gt; of the derby had a 24 1/2 # Coos River Chinook, good job Russell . The Water conditions are &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;improving&lt;/span&gt; with the water levels on the rise, and temps up in the 54f range, it makes for a great bite when the fish are on the move . Tina and Jack took home a great fish, on there 2 day fishing trip, hooking this nice fish on the first day , and a &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;Steelhead&lt;/span&gt; on the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;second&lt;/span&gt; day, lots of smiles, and they managed to kick down a few Miller Lights on their vacation adventure to the Rogue River on the Southern Oregon Coast. Keep your eye on the river we are due for a great surge of fish any day , see you on the river, will be seeing Jim and &lt;div&gt;Ralph on the Rogue again , and maybe in Alaska next year.
